Jeff Crane - Founder/President
Jeff Crane is helping non-profit organizations in the U.S. to reach their full potential and bring more money and awareness to charitable causes. Jeff has been involved in charitable activities most of his adult life. He "experienced" the college world but his real education derived from his 10 + business ventures mostly in the Internet field. Most recently he has been named "Most Likely to Weave the Web" in the 2008 Fall issue of Utah Valley BusinessQ. Jeff is recognized as one of the 40 most likely to succeed in Utah. He is married and has two fun-loving sons.
Jeff Klemin - Co-Founder/VP, Marketing Technology
Jeff Klemin has numerous years of experience in the "start up business" world. Jeff received a Bachelor degree from Brigham Young University in International Relations. Since graduation, Jeff has served for several years as a Board Member for many start-up and established companies, most notably, AuthorizeNet, a leading online credit card processor. He has recently taken a "healthier" turn in life and has lost 80 pounds. He is married and has two young children.
Nathan Osmond - VP, Charity Relations
Nathan Osmond is a professional singer, songwriter, producer, actor, motivational speaker and now, a philanthropist. He is number two out of eight boys in his family, and is the son of 70's pop star, Alan Osmond. He received his associates degree at UVSC and then moved on to BYU. He served a 2-year Spanish-speaking mission for the LDS Church in Santiago, Chile and is also an Eagle Scout. Nathan serves on the board of Operation Smile, Utah Chapter. He is married to Sarah Osmond and they are the proud parents of three little boys.
David Osmond - Director, Business Development
David Osmond has been performing on stage as the lead singer of the Osmond Second Generation ever since he was four years old. As a solo artist, he has also been writing, recording and producing music on his own accord for many years. He along with his brothers became the Youth Chairman for the Children's Miracle Network; an organization his grandmother started 25 years ago. David is honored with the opportunity to assist numerous charities in their efforts to make a big difference around the world. He married the love of his life, Valerie, in April of 2007. They are expecting their first child this next year.
Ashley Castellanos - VP, Customer Relations
Ashley Castellanos is an animal lover and has a passion for making the world a "little greener". She has been in the Customer Service field all her working years from assisting patients, serving customers and handling clients. She was raised knowing the importance of charitable giving so uPlej is right up her alley! She is responsible for the day-to-day at uPlej but most importantly taking care of our members. She grew up in sunny Southern California appreciating both the ocean and mountains. She is married to her high school sweetheart, has a spunky cat named Tigger and now resides in beautiful Utah.
Matt Eau Claire - VP, Information Technology
Matt Eau Claire has been an Internet professional since 1995. He created the website for the NHL's Carolina Hurricanes which stood in place from 2001 until 2007. He has also managed many other Internet development projects, providing him with a wealth of expertise in all aspects of website management. Matt grew up in Washington D.C. and spent most of his life on the East coast until three years ago when he moved to Utah. In his spare time, he can be found in the mountains or desert camping and riding four-wheelers, or in Las Vegas trying to convince people to give him their poker chips.
Ryan Chisum - Creative Director
Ryan Chisum has over sixteen years of professional experience in graphic design, web development, print production, and marketing. He studied fine art at Stanislaus State University where he was nominated by his professors for the National Outstanding Student Achievement Award. He ended up going to San Francisco State University where he earned his Bachelor's Degree specializing in animation. While there, he served as a production intern at Pixar Animation Studios and is credited in the movie Toy Story. Ryan has two beautiful and amazing daughters and loves music, art, and everything outdoors.
Jon Klemin - Manager, Web Marketing
Jon Klemin is very passionate about the Internet and technology. He was introduced to computers at a young age which eventually led to a fascination with the Internet and search engine optimization. He is responsible for uPlej's web traffic growth through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). He grew up in Northern California where he lived in the same house for nineteen years. He then moved to Utah in 2001 and currently lives in Salt Lake City. Jon plays hockey and tries to go golfing whenever possible, he also loves watching movies.
Jed Ivie - Volunteer uPlej Charity Photographer
Jed has been playing around with photography for about five years. His favorite subject is people...true people in their element. He shoots a lot on independent movie sets and wishes he could do that every day. Hope you like some of his work.
